1What happens when you simply read the site

Nothing is written to your device and no outside service is contacted. There are no cookies, no local storage, no tracking pixels and no scripts from anyone else. You can browse every page of this site without any of that changing.

2The two features that do store something

Translating the site

The language button in the corner uses GTranslate, which in turn uses Google Translate. Nothing loads until you press it. Once you choose a language:

Records the language you chose, so the rest of the site stays in it. Set on this domain.

gt_lang

The same choice, kept in your browser’s local storage so it survives closing the tab.

Set by GTranslate to remember the list of available languages.

Choosing English again removes all three. Translation also sends the text of the page you are reading to Google in order to translate it.

Protecting the enquiry forms

Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which tells genuine enquiries from automated ones. It loads the first time you type into a form — not before — and not at all on pages without a form.

reCAPTCHA sets its own cookie on google.com and collects information about the request, including your IP address and how you interact with the page, in order to score it. This is done by Google, not by us, and is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service linked beneath each form.

3What we do not use

• No analytics. We do not use Google Analytics or any equivalent, so we cannot see who visits, from where, or which pages they read.
• No advertising or remarketing cookies, and no advertising networks.
• No social media pixels or share trackers.
• No profiling, and nothing sold or passed to data brokers.

When you send an enquiry we receive what you typed into the form, and nothing more.

4Managing your preferences

Because nothing is set unless you act, the simplest control is not to use the two features above. If you have used them and want to undo it:

• Switch the language back to English, which clears all three translation entries.
• Clear cookies and site data for this site in your browser settings, which removes everything either feature has stored.
• Block third-party scripts in your browser or an extension. The site is fully readable without them; only translation and form protection stop working.

Blocking scripts does not prevent you sending an enquiry. If reCAPTCHA cannot load, the form still submits.
